Simple Simons Press Nonprofessional Performance Rights ApplicationThis is an application for a non-professional theatrical producer (public/private K-12 school, college, university, community theatre, youth theatre workshop, etc.) to produce a full-length play, one-act, or a complete published collection of one-act plays by one author in the United States or Canada only. YOU MUST enter your venue's postal code to apply for a license. Simple Simons Press advises you not to hold auditions, begin rehearsals, publicize performance dates, or make any major production plans before you have obtained written permission to proceed. Once your application is approved, you will receive a license within 48 hours via email. This license will detail licensing rights, privileges, and responsibilities along with payment options and details. Public K-12 schools and state universities, colleges, and community colleges may pay with a school Purchase Order and will be invoiced with 30-day payment terms at the time a license is issued. Make certain you have your PO in place before requesting a license; if payment is not received within 30 days of license issuance, you will need to start this process all over again.
